Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Selma AI. By creating an account or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Selma AI ("Selma", "we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered voice and text secretary service that helps you manage your calendar, contacts, telephone calls and other communications.
The service is operated by Igor Sokhinov, individual entrepreneur, registered in Ukraine, trading as Selma / CallsFlow ("the operator", "we"). Contact: sokhinov@gmail.com.
An Estonian legal entity ("CallsFlow OÜ") is in the process of being established. These Terms will be updated when the service transfers to that entity.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your country to consent to data processing) to use Selma. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
- You must provide accurate and current information when registering.
- You may not let anyone else use your account, and you may not use someone else's account without permission.
- If you sign in with Google, you authorise Selma to access only the data scopes you explicitly approve in the Google consent screen. See our Privacy Policy for details.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Selma to:
- Violate any law, regulation or third-party right.
- Harass, threaten, defraud or harm any person.
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or marketing without proper consent.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the service.
- Use the service to build a competing AI assistant or to train third-party models.
- Upload or process data you do not have the right to share.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Telephony features
If you enable telephony features (the agent answers or makes phone calls on your behalf):
- You are responsible for complying with local laws on call recording, automated dialing and consumer protection.
- In some jurisdictions, you must inform the other party that the call is recorded or handled by an AI. We provide tooling for this disclosure; using it correctly is your responsibility.
6. AI output
Selma generates responses, summaries, scheduled events, drafted messages and other artefacts using third-party large-language-model providers. AI output:
- Can be inaccurate, outdated or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it for important decisions.
- Is not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, etc.).
- Is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.
7. Fees and billing
Selma offers a free tier and one or more paid plans. Where a plan is paid:
- Pricing is shown on selma.one/#pricing and inside your account.
- Charges recur on the cycle indicated at sign-up (monthly or annual).
- You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not refund unused portions of a period unless required by law.
- If a charge fails, we may suspend or downgrade your account until the issue is resolved.
8. Your data
How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
You retain all rights in the content you upload or generate through Selma. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely to provide and improve the service for you.
9. Third-party services
Selma integrates with services such as Google (Calendar, Contacts), telephony providers, email providers and payment processors. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the conduct or content of third-party services.
10. Intellectual property
Selma, the Selma logo, the website and all underlying software are owned by the operator and protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works of the service except as expressly allowed.
11. Termination
You may stop using Selma at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. We will provide reasonable notice where practical.
Upon termination, sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (e.g. intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, governing law) will remain in effect.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that AI output will be accurate.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 50.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (such as gross negligence, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or statutory consumer rights).
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (i) your breach of these Terms, (ii) your misuse of the service, or (iii) your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Changes to the service or Terms
We may update the service and these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email and / or in-app notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect, unless the change is required for legal or security reasons. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be addressed by good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ukraine, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
If a particular provision is held invalid, the remainder of the Terms remains in effect.
